For enhanced security, fit the i-track GPS/GPRS/GSM tracking system to your horsebox, vehicle or trailer.
When you want to know where your horsebox/trailer/vehicle is exactly located then simply call it by phone. i-track hangs-up and responds by txt message, with its GPS latitude and longitude, which can then be entered into Google Maps etc, or a Sat-Nav system to view its precise location (i-track also sends speed/direction information and battery life remaining).
No annual subscription or set up fees, just the cost of a text message. The waterproof system also warns you if it's internal battery is low; connecting the unit to an external battery (vehicle etc) will give it 'unlimited' life.
Additionally, a 'geo-fence' can be set so that if the unit goes out of a pre-defined area you are 'told' via text message. A great little unit and it can be easily fitted with it's really strong magnetic feet and/or by using the cable-tie points.

Typical Installation
Vehicle fitted with a battery
i-track contains all the items required to fit the system and is completely self contained. No specialist skills are required to fit it, unless you want to power it (recharge) from the vehicle etc. The i-track should be hidden and then tested to ensure that the GPS receiver is able to work (any location, except completely surrounded by metal is fine). The SIM card slots into the i-track and is sealed behind a rubber cover.
System Operation
The i-track is not supplied with a SIM card as this gives you the freedom to choose network and payment terms. We recommend a pay-as-you-go SIM card that can be topped up without having to be removed from the unit. Several mobile phone networks will provide SIM cards free of charge.
Once installed the i-track is interrogated via calling it from any phone. i-track 'hangs up' and then responds by text message with its 'Lat & Long', which can then be plotted on a map using http://maps.google.co.uk and the vehicle/i-track location can be easily found/seen. i-track also gives you its speed and direction information, if moving, and its remaining battery life.
works with all SMS text mobile phones
